Hi, I’m Tomoki Kinoshita. I’m originally from Osaka, Japan. I used to live in New York for 9 years in total, give or take. Now, I’m living in Tokyo and working in an English school as a director.

I love dunking, working out in the gym, and listening to a variety of podcasts, mainly about fitness and psychology, and sometimes about politics.

Hello! I began teaching Japanese through volunteer activities in Japan and have since taught in language schools in Japan and Thailand. At these schools, I primarily used みんなの日本語 (Minna no Nihongo) and created grammar materials focused on JLPT N5 and N4 levels. I particularly enjoy teaching Japanese grammar.

Hello! I’m Kenji and I grew up in Tokyo. My first time abroad was in Australia, where I did a homestay and went to school for two weeks. The stay was absolutely mind-blowing and it introduced me to a whole new world. During my college years, I participated in a summer program at Oxford University and studied in Pennsylvania for a year. Hello! My name is Alexandra but I’ve gone by Ino since I was in the 5th grade. I’ve lived in Japan for 7 years but had traveled multiple times before that. I studied Japanese in high school and spent my senior year of college at Keio University with a Japanese studies major. After graduating I decided that I wanted to live in Japan permanently and sought out a job in Tokyo.

My name is Mizuki and I am from Perth, Australia. I came to Japan 3 years ago but have been travelling to and from Japan from a young age due to having family here.

Having been raised in Australia, English is my first language but I grew up speaking Japanese at home with my parents. Speaking is my strong point but I have had to make my own effort to study the written side of Japanese, especially kanji.

Greetings! My name is Christopher and I’ve lived here in Japan for almost 2 decades.

I have been teaching English in Japan for quite some time having left the U.S.A on a study abroad program to Waseda. It was my last year and, since I didn’t need to go back for graduation, I chose to stay! Best decision of my life.
